I water my grass every other day and it doesnt run sour,the ground is level! Why doesnt grass want to turn nice grren,in some spots its green but adjectives the yard,no dogs or cats come in my courtyard since its very gated so they cant pee on it,so whats going on? Fertilized about 3-4 months ago,river regularly! Just doesnt want to turn nice! What ill i doing wrong?
Give it a magnesium boost..Spray it with epsom salt or use a courtyard spreader to apply it then slightly water it right afterwards..

Good drainage is a must & aeration is also needed. try to purchase a simple tool to put alot of really small holes on the surface of your grass or perhaps a roller with spikes.
Have the pH smooth checked too depends on the amount of sun it recieves, and the type of fertiliser- make sure the fertiliser is high within nitrogen N and phosphorus P.
Answers: You must not live in Missouri because our grass is GREEN and it rain almost daily. City water is never as dutiful as rain water.
