I am not super freaked about the environment...but I do numeral there are little things I can do to support. How do I have a compost...not the class where you buy a bunch of worms put them beneath your kitchen sink, but the kind where on earth you can put all debris (save from plasitcs, metals, and glasses)?
Answers:    Recycle or buy a plastic pail/bin with a tight fitting lid just about 24 inches tall or taller. (Garbage bin) Your container needs a locking lid to hold critters out and to keep soil moist.
With a drill, drill 8 to 10 small holes within the bottom of your container for aeration purposes. If necessary, drill a few holes on the sides/walls of the bin.
Place your compost bin contained by a shady area away from your home contained by the back patio. If you live in an apartment or enjoy no backyard you can place your bin on the patio. Be sure your compost is not surrounded by full sun or your compost will dry out. Place some shredded newspaper or dry leaves on the bottom of your compost bin, pack about 1/8 - 1/4 full. Place dirt from your garden lying on the newspaper, until your compost is 1/2 full.

Now, place any food oddments or paper products into compost such as fruit, vegetables, crushed egg shells, broadsheet towels, coffee grounds etc. Check a few times a week and add sea if needed. Once a week. Roll your bin to turn the compost. Never add oil or meats to bin.
don't start a compost mass in your house; stuff is rotting inside. if you don't own space in your patio, you can buy a barrell to hold it while things decompose. You a moment ago fill it up or supply as you go and turn it over every week or so; no pitchfork or shovel required. A compost pile is just an nouns where you put things to rot. turn it every week or so and after awhile, boom, compost.
