Answers:    Sunflowers have a 60 daytime cycle, so plant some, give a few weeks start and next plant some more. If timed right you will have a dutiful spread throughout the summer. Plant 2" deep going on for 18" apart, in honourable fertile and moist soil. Trim leaves a bit agter 2 weeks.
in most instances, sunflowers will germinate in 7 to 10 days. If you are planning on germinating them surrounded by the same cup, you may have need of to thin them out as they start to come above soil horizontal. A hint to speed up germination is to place a piece of seran wrap over top of the white cup, you can hold contained by place with a rubber tie around top of cup, just kind sure the wrap is level (part covering mouth of cup) and place within sunny spot, make sure you moisturize soil though every day if you do this(in morning). It will shrink the germination period by a daylight or two.
