Has anyone ever been surrounded by a gardening club? I was thinking of conceivably starting one where we could stumble upon maybe once a month and trade secret and preanulas and such. Good idea discouraging idea?
Answers: I cogitate it's a great idea! And it doesn't necessarily own to be "little old ladies" have tea parties!
It's a great opportunity for you and your gardening friends to obtain together, each bringing a modern tip they've learned. Maybe respectively meeting everyone could bring any a clipping of one of their favorite plants. Then you could either play a team game to see who gets which adjectives, or you could just do a trading respectively time.
You could invite local "master gardeners" to come and speak to your group from time to time, or you could each trade past its sell-by date on who will be in charge of the subsequent meeting as far as the subject and who will speak to the group. Maybe a partaker could bring her favorite gardening books to share, or review a new book that's out, or explain how she be able to grasp her gardenia to bloom against all probability! One meeting surrounded by the winter could be everyone looking at seed catalogs and planning their garden for spring. You could stumble upon at someone's house and have a project of creating a compost pile. Think GREEN!
Refreshments should be kept to a minimum so that respectively month the hostess doesn't start dreading it and trying to out-do the last hostess! Perhaps one party could have the school assembly at her house, and another person could provide the dessert or anything so the hostess doesn't have so much to do.
The possibilities are perpetual! You'll have fun research more about gardening, and you'll spend time next to people who love to do what you do..gardening!
Usually GC's consist of little feeble lady tea party.
