I live in scotland (edinburgh) and hold just get my first allotment and am really excited and hoping to get beneath way straight away but inevitability to know if there is any veg that can be grown from chisel at this time of year, it is very close to frost already and i don't own a green house or space indoors for growing seedlings for transplanting outdoors, so i obligation to know about veg that can be grown from nut outdoors, or that will be easy to draw from seedlings for. any suggestions or is it to postponed for this year? thanks
Answers: i would suggest getting a book specifically for your nouns. You can start seedlings indoors. I am foreign of any plant that likes to be planted during the winter, unless you are planting spring flower bulbs, but veggies......can't deliberate of any. so I would take this opportunity to settle contained by with a devout book on gardening and study up.
radishes and turnips are very graceful to grow...not sure about potatoes
