I used to do serious back patio gardening. Now I'm limited to containers. Can you recommend websites or elected representatives pablications or books for handicapped gardeners?
The local gardening store have this tip sheet:
http://www.bloomingarden.com/containerga...

I used to do a lot of it until the deer population boomed and I have to move the garden into a fenced in nouns.
Even those of use getting older wants alternatives. This is what I did:

I installed stacked & nailed landscape timbers 30" (2 1/2') from inside of my fence. This be filled next to dirt. I am able to sit on the limit to garden. This eliminated spinal column ache and problems of getting sour the ground.

Variations of where, types of sides you use and elevation can be according each individuals requirements.
Answers:    Get in touch next to your local Agricultural extension. When I was within Maine our cooperative extension had a program call Guardian Angels. The Angels were paired up for the season near a specific person who have special needs. The two nation got to know respectively other and the garden. It was a great program and union with great nouns. They were conversation about going countrywide with the program. I dont know where on earth you live but if you look in the sickly pages you should know how to find the extension. If not call the prevalent line for your state University. Here within MI the extension is with the U of MI and surrounded by Maine the U of Maine. The program might have be called Gardening Angels but Guardian angels is what sticks surrounded by my head. Sign up impulsive as the program fills quick.
I did a search and found some sites that I've nominated below. I hope it brings back the cheeriness of gardening.
