Flower smells? i have a new girlfriend who have this weird issue with flowers....
i have a new girlfriend who have this weird issue with flowers. she say the smell of many kinds are directly coupled to a horrible memory of her grandmother's funeral from when she was like 10 and can't stand to be around them. i want to know how to randomly pamper her and i grain like this is a significant roadblock. so my question is, are nearby any bouquet type flowers that would definitely not be employed for any type of wake, memorial service, or funeral?
Most types of flowers have been used for funerals. There are such plants as orchids, or flowering cacti that may relief. Is there a specific reason you choice to use flowers to pamper her? You sound as tho you're a completely caring person. Perhaps you could try another route for showing her you meticulousness very much. Good luck.
My mom says that something like lilies! Anymore, most florist flowers are hybridized enough that even the ones that used to smell, don't smell much anymore. There are enough non-smellers that it shouldn't be a problem if you merely tell the florist you don't want any with fragrance. There are also potted flowering plants that don't smell. For pamper, chocolates and jewelry always work. : ) Not to be rude but this is a issue she needs to do business with..there are flowers everywhere..do not tolerate it drag you down over it...I regret your friend has these issues, but we all hold our different quirks/issues...She needs to try and deal next to it.. I will not redirect my life nor redecorate my home for the issues of another, especially if they are not living inwardly the household..If it was a resident within matching house..I may try to accomodate this
Answers: Gerbera daisies are brightly coloured, don't enjoy any perfume, and last for a long time in a pitcher, same with gladioli, proteas.
There are a lot of flowers that own no perfume. If you were to choose very brightly coloured flowers, they probably wouldn't remind her of a funeral, as funerals usually use white or weak coloured flowers.
Maybe randomly pamper her beside a voucher for a massage or facial?
