My friend cut a piece of his fig tree off and give it to me. It is just a couple leaves and is growing great contained by a bowl with marine. When should I transport it into soil?
Answers: As soon as its almost a foot. Then transplant into a a pot and keep it contained by the pot until spring.. Personally I wouldn't plant it out side ever.. Move it inside and out depending on the season and it will prosper with the slightly radiator climate during the winter.. I'm not sure if fig trees originated surrounded by Italy but they do seem to prosper beside the slightly warmer winters and little snow.
