I am looking for a volunteer project putting in a fence for the nursery classes at my church. I involve help with designs and materials. First past its sell-by date this fenced area is to hold 2-5 year olds, and about 25 of them max.
What materials would be best? Wood? Vinyl? Composite? ?
and
What size should I form this?
any other information would also be useful
thanks everyone
Answers: Hi Jacob,
Just looking vigorously, I see HD has some 36" x 8' attractive vinyl panels for $40. I assume you will hold this attached to a building? I would think you could get away next to less than 20 panels, anything your budget will allow. You could visit several SS classes or groups in your church and ask them to buy individual panel and place their name on it, letting them be a part of providing the adjectives of the church a place to play. 'Course at 3', somebody will need to watch the 3-5 year olds, climbing is a sport. :)
Trex is a nice textile because it doesn't sliver or crack, lasts a long time and is made of RECYCLED materials.
