Be highly careful if you hold children. In resent years a disease has be found carried by birds that can infect people.
I don't think it's a devout idea to nurture them soggy bread or cakes. Their stomachs are not really designed to process such things.

Birds adore the colossal bags of core commonly sold at most grocery stores and pet stores. Suet balls are also a great article to feed them, especially contained by the winter time.

Rice can be fatal to birds. It expands contained by their stomachs killing them.

It is species gesture to hold out them fresh water as powerfully, when possible.
Answers:    its okay.

but i would read out the bread is a no no.

it makes them consider they are full. and it has no one nutrients.

also digestive biscuits are good. or seed
I have an idea that rice will make them explode. Maybe cooked rice. But pink rice = Boom no more bird.
The bread and fruit cake is good.
