I have a Prairie Smoke plant (Geum triflorum). This is the first year I hold had one. I planted it closing last drip and it came up and did will until August. Then adjectives the leaves turned brown and it appears dead. Is this run of the mill for this plant or did it really die?
Answers: These grow wild here surrounded by the Dakotas, they grow on sunny dry slopes, never in showery shady areas. You may have over watered yours. Google the USDA plant guide. RScott
