Does Bamboo really grow a meter a year, and can i grow it surrounded by the UK?
Answers: Only some varieties grow that briskly, and those are tropical varieties. But in attendance are zero level hardy bamboos, available in clumping or nonclumping (spreading via root) variety that can grow where you live. Just do an online survey for UK bamboo growers.
There are different variety of bamboo, so be totally careful what you acquire. One is a pest that spreads alarmingly, another is a clumping plant & is OK. We had it when I be a kid, but I don't remember it growing that fast. lol As to whether it grows contained by the UK, I have no conception.
