they either intended that they will grind the stumps to below soil level or they will remove them and consequently grind down
If you are going to plant something else surrounded by the spot, you will need to hire a Stump Grinder to grind out the stump. Tree services who remove trees commonly cut the trees to the ground, or a small stump, but do not remove the stump below ground level.
If you're not planting things within son, you can let it rot inherently.
Answers: A tree service will only embezzle your tree down to a short stump, unless you pay them, or someone else to "stump Grind" it for you. This will remove the stump down below ground rank and the remaining roots will rot in the ground.
