Does anyone know what does the venus flytrap do for us? PLEASE HELP!

Well, besides human being FREAKIN' AWESOME, they eat bugs, which is usually a polite thing.

Insects outnumber other animals by a huge level, and we need adjectives the help we can get hold of to control their population. Also, Venus flytraps (and other carnivorous plants) live in swampy areas which usually enjoy really poor soil. Since they get their nutrition from insects, they can grow where on earth other plants can't, so they help carry on swamps and prevent erosion.

I had some for a while. They're really cool plants. But DON'T collect them from the wild--buy propagated ones from nursery stock to protect delirious plants.
