the chilli plant in my bedroom glass sill is infested with aphids. every morning and dark i try to pluck as many as i can out of them - i tried putting a ladybug contained by it but it wants to jump outside (so i let it) and its intake the stem making the leaves fall out. i wouldnt try garlic river (which works) on them cos its in my room. it would simply stink it up. =D

does anyone know how to get rid of aphids in need harming/stinking/killing the plant? i'd much rather a cheap non-chemical-home-made-product =) its exceptionally special to me

thanks within advance!
Answers:    The best solution is to use a pallid sticky trap. Take a disposable yellow cup (solo brand?) smear the outside near vaseline or cooking oil, set it on a broadsheet plate next to your chili pepper and surrounded by a day or two adjectives the aphids will be gone. Aphids are drawn to the yellow color. They lands on the cup and get stuck. At most you will hold to use a second cup.

The amounts of dish detergent being suggested here will most plausible burn your plant. It only take a couple of drops of dish detergent to a quart of water for the solution to be significant. Cooking oil will close bad the plants cells, so they cannot breath. These homemade solutions can be successful on certain plants, however a pepper have a rather elegant leaf and can lose adjectives of them easily.

Hope this help and hope you have lots of child peppers contained by the future! :)
