I LOVE gardening, being surrounded by my garden is probally the best place to be, besides being within a forest or a jungle...
The feeling of natural life...
The anticipation of something just nearly to burst from the ground...
The aroma of rosemary, thyme, chilies, and pea blossoms...
Biting a ear of corn and tasting the sweetness...
Popping a cherry tomato and get the impression its sweet tart kiss...
The little tickle of the earthworm moving contained by your hand...
The in good spirits dances of the hummingbirds and bees that fly between the flowers...
The smell of damp Mother Earth.
Answers: Yeah, until the missus comes out.
What a lovely question! I lately started my first container garden, and I have flowers and some veggies (got feed up with the little tomatoes from the stores that enjoy no more taste than a piece of cardboard does). The flowers better the look of my front yard so much! Like little bursts of color surrounded by a grey landscape. I return with started and enjoy it so much I don't want to stop, it have turned into an addiction, and when one little flower dies, I even get for a while sad :(
lead to it is a little energy that I planted and grew attached to. And I have hummingbirds, so when those little flying trinkets come to the feeder I just stop and scrutinize...it's my version of 'stopping to smell the roses'.
