Answers: If you can find a nursery that specializes within Japanese or Asian plants, they may have a larger test. As others have mentioned, their blossom season is short (2-3 weeks at most) but spectacular.
You're looking for something like the trees within the Washington tidal basin that be a gift from Japan? In that valise, you're looking for Prunus serrulata cv Kwanzan, aka Kwanzan flowering cherry.
Google Kwanzan and you'll find a number of sources.
There are other flowering cherries, and tasty cherries have lovely flowers, too, near a bonus of cherries to eat!
