Do you regret building an inground pool? I am looking into adding a nice custom pool to my backyard....

I am looking into adding a nice custom pool to my backyard. This will cost lots of $$$$ and I am nervous that I will regret it subsequently. Does anyone have a pool that they installed then wish they hadn't?
What does a sesame plant look similar to?
Answers:    Yes, it was nice when the kids were little. Once they get older I was lately keeping a pool clean for nothing. I would win an above ground so it can be taken down. Plus in our town our property taxes went up for the inground pool.
What fertilizer works best?
I hear on HGTV that it can be bad to build them in correct areas and make your resell value lower. Talk to a local actual estate agent if it is a good idea for you to do this.
Cutting (large)?
Family member I have regret putting their inground pool in because presently their kids are all grown up and it never gets used anymore.
