Do Windmill Mole chasers work?
Answers: No they don't work. The animals grow accustomed to the repetitive noise quickly. Moles are meat eaters: insects, worms and grubs, and the grassland damage is from them foraging for that food. In spite of the ads, they won't devour poison peanuts or mouse bait either. Poison peanuts are for gophers or ground squirrels. The only article really effective for moles is traps.
No they don't. Moles will cause like mad of damage to your lawn, which they challenge with their tunnels creating a very rough surface. Seedbeds are wrecked by them but they dont eat the plants. I have have problems with moles for years, my faithful cat have caught as many as 8 in sometime. Still they come. It appears that they respond to disturbance such as grass cutting and the regular vibration of populace walking around. Constant activity in the garden will deter them, but within is no cure. I have 2 that are short. and a BB is in the tube ratteling whne the devotee moves round. Im not confident in them like I am beside poisen peanuts though. I know they work.
