My rose bush has quite a few spiders taking up residence (1 big one and a few small ones). At first I thought that the spiders would one and only eat other insects and thus keep rose pests away, but something is ingestion holes in my rose leaves. The holes start out as white spots with a black ring (looks kinda similar to the black spot fungus), and eventually the white spot turns into a hole.

Are the spiders doing this? Or are they swarming all over my rose because they're attracted by whatever insect is infesting my rose?

What's the best passageway to deal with this?

appreciation!
Rose spray for fungus No not at all they help them by consumption all the bad things that try to assassinate roses. Hope I helped
You are right in your second speculation. Your rose bushes are great food for many insects and the carnivorous spiders are as a result feasting on the insects on your roses. You need to identify the insect to be precise causing the damage.

If it is a caterpillar (small green caterpillars attack rose leaves) you can use Bt - a biological insecticide that will not damage the spiders. If it is some other form of insect you can use some other insecticide, but it will also kill the spiders.
Answers:    Spiders are carnivores, not vegetarians. Something else is eating your rose bushes, and rest assured the spiders will chomp through the culprits if they can.
I prefer herbal pesticides. Spiders aren't supposed to eat plants. I think you may hold some mites that the spider was feasting on. Look on the bottom of the leaves, most pests dangle out there. Spider don't eat plants they put away insects...they will help your Roses...I think catapillers and female bugs might br your problem...
Spiders don't eat roses! It sounds approaching you have mites? They may be too small for the spiders to eat. Try mixing a solution of dish soap and hose down in a spray bottle and spray them down well contained by the evening (so you don't sunburn them). The soapy water is not harmful to the plants (it truly unclogs their pores so they can breath) and it's a nontoxic way to go and get rid of bugs. Unfortunately it will also get rid of your spiders :( You can also sprinkle them with DE after the subsequent rain shower. Your Rose bushes is getting fungus diseased, so you have to remove the effect leaves right away before it spreads to the rest of them. That will save it from further defacement.
no, they won't they eat other bugs.Won't be a prob. no they protect them!
