I need to do some replanting and found some frail terra cotta planters, but they need some cleaning. What are some tricks of the trade that you adjectives have? What works for you?

"Soak the Terra Cotta pot overnight surrounded by a mixture of ten parts of water to one bit bleach. It is easiest to use a plastic five gallon bucket for smaller pots, and a garbage can or tub for larger pots. The more time the Terra Cotta pot spends in the solution, the easier it will be to verbs.
Use a wire brush to scrub the inside of the pot. You may obligation to use a scrapper or razor blade for chiefly stubborn sections. Be reliable not to use too much force, so you don't damage the pot, or yourself.
Soak contained by clean hose down to remove all bleach after you own thoroughly scrubbed the Terra Cotta pot. It is high-status to remove all traces of the bleach, or it can damage your new plants.
