I'm in northern Indiana, and I have a small backyard vegetable plot. I completely forgot to plant my sweet corn seed. Is it too late? Should I try to find established plants somewhere? And where would that be? Or am I merely going to be buying all of my corn from the stupid grocery store this year?
Answers:    Check the back of the pip pack to see how many days before you can produce for your corn. I there are enough days between immediately and the first frost then you should be fine. I think as long as you plant it back the end of June you should be ok.
happy planting
Corn germinate pretty quickly so you might be ok to plant it now. WIll a short time ago make your crop ready a bit following in the fall.
