why are my crape myrtle not blooming and everyone else's are

How do you plant and grow plums?
Answers:    most of my whites and pinks are blooming very soon... but the dark pinks, reds and miniatures won't bloom for a while yet. are here bloom buds or darker leaves on the tips of the branches on yours?... if so, they're coming!!... patience!...

I'm surrounded by the same general nouns and have 5 crepe myrtles. Some are blooming and some are not. The anwer is to PRUNE! It's too late contained by the year now, but come spring, but before the plants start to bud, cut them rear legs. Cut as much as you want, but cut something! They may bloom just a little next, but they will bloom profusely!
