The tree is a Blue Jaracanda. I've tried 2 other methods and I'm still waiting to see if anything happens.

I wanna see if this method works.I've heard that it won't work because the roots that grows won't shape to a new enviorment.

I've also heard that it will work.

Right immediately I have a few cuttings and a few different others in a jar beside water. So someone please give some clarification.
Answers:    Some trees will never root contained by water, others root easily. Willow trees are celebrated for rooting, and if you want to encourage other cuttings to root, it is a good impression to add a few sprigs of willow to the water.

I hold no experience with rooting blue jacaranda cuttings, but according to my references, they root confidently.

Once a cutting has developed roots within water, you need to be terrifically careful when potting it in potting soil as the roots are prudish. You also need to keep the atmosphere round the plant humid next to a plastic bag until the cutting have established itself in the pot.
With plants it is easier to move them into a new environment. Moving a tree is abundantly harder. When i moved my tree it died the following week. I would suggest that this method will not work. Try tieing a plastic bag filled beside your favorite soil to a branch, but first score the branch so it will seng roots in the different direction...or add chemicals to your water(growth)good luck
