BOB HARDWARE MAY HAVE SOMETHING I UNDERSTAND IF YOU DONT WANT TO USE WEED SEED
You may not want to kill the clover. It's actually exceptionally good for your lawn. It provides much needed nitrogen. If you really can't stand it, depending on how environmentally conscious you are, you can use corn gluten (very floor friendly) keep it mowed, or check the labels on those awful things you find at meadow and garden centers. However it is very late contained by the season to do anything now. I would wait until plunge. Then do it again in the early spring as a preemergent. It will thieve a couple of years whatever you decide, unless you a short time ago keep it mowed. I have finished my battle of the weeds, by eliminate the lawn altogether. I have a cottage garden next to paths to wherever I want to get to. Very pretty and very flowing. :) why do you want to kill the clover that make the best looking patio Ive ever seen but I'm a farm boy from sheep farm country not a city slicker
Answers: Yes clover does look unsightly surrounded by a lawn in a formal setting. The answer is slightly simple, just nip down to your local garden/hardware shop and get some stuff that kill all garden weeds but doesn't injure the grass at the same time!!. This product also contains a lawn fertilizer, your bloodshed the weeds and feeding the grass. There are various makes all are honourable, they come in granular form or liquid. I prefer the soft which you just apply with a sprayer or hose down on with a watering can with fine rose.. Do not use surrounded by hot dry weather, it will burn your lawn. I use a product called Lawn Care.It works in a few days.
