Cat food attracts flies!!? I have an outdoor cat, and his dry food attracts so many...

I have an outdoor cat, and his dry food attracts so many flies surrounded by my backyard. How do I get rid of them and prevent more from coming back? I know it's somewhat ineviteable, but I want to minimize the number of them because I want to pocket my baby outside to enjoy the handsome Southern California weather. No silly answers please.
Yeah, change the opening you do things!
The flies won't go away if there is a food source. You're lucky you don't enjoy a problem with raccoons at night!

Just nurture him a couple of times a day, only what he is going to chomp through right then.Don't worry roughly him being hungry between feedings because I promise, he will catch a bird if needed.
I know because I hold a couple of outsiders myself and this is the same routine that I go through. What's his heading? I trained my outdoor cat by calling her when it was feeding time. She'd come and get through, then I'd put the food away.
You could try fly paper, but if the food is vanished out, you're gonna get flies.
Answers:    If you leave the food out at night, it will also attract roaches. I nurture my 2 outside cats twice a day. I only give up their food out for about 30 minutes, then put it away. They are almost 2 years ripened and healthy, so I think this is fine. Your cat will gain used to eating while the food is out. Best to feed at one and the same times each day.
