Answers: Here is some information and some really great sites that I've compiled over time when researching how to care for my carnivorous plants. I have an idea that you will find it very cooperative. You can keep them outside contained by full sun or in a terrarium, but I recommend that you not hang on to them in thier origional container because their roots want room to grow and there is not ample air. Also, if you are going to preserve them in a terrarium afterwards make sure you do not put the terrarium surrounded by direct sunlight. What a lot of family do not know is that carnivorous plants, VFTs in demanding, do best outside in the embark on air and surrounded by full sun. They are cold tolerant up to 20 degrees and in actuality need to be winterized and turn into hibernation in lay down to reemerge next season. If your temps drop below 20 consequently you can keep them surrounded by an unheated garage or garden shed. If you keep them within a terrarium then you can force them into hibernation or dormancy and I will provide you the site that explains how to do this. As for watering, carnivorous plants are bog plants and their soil needs to stay moist adjectives the times. If you grow them in a terrarium this should not be a problem, however, if you grow them outside you will have need of to place them in a saucer of hose and make sure you hang on to the saucer full at all times. No meat of any kind. Meat rots and it will execute them
No fertilizer of any kind. Pot carnivorous plants within a 50/50 mix of peat moss and perlite only.
No straight thump water. Use filter tap, aged touch or distilled (preferred)

well expose it so sunight ealy morning just about 2 hours...feed your venus fly trap near flies...or any insects you can find in your garden But I hold abetter Idea, why not catch those pesky roaches contained by your home and feed it to your plant...
