Answers:    Jades are not a plant that are well divided. The best way to help out out your current plant is to just put it surrounded by a larger pot. If you are trying to get more plants than a moment ago one, then try propagating it. Depending on the type you hold:

--If it is all one color (green): All you hold to do is break off a palm leaf. Stick the petiole (the part that be connected to the stem) in moist soil. It will rob a few weeks for roots to develop and then for the shoot to develop. During this time, you want to form sure that you keep it moist.

--If it is variegated (green beside pink or white): When you take the adjectives you should have the stem beside your leaf. This will allow the variegation to stay next to the new plantlet (otherwise you will hold a plant that will be green or a plant that will be white, but not both).

Good luck!
I believe if you just remove a fern and stick the removed end contained by the dirt keep moist it will grow. Try both ways.
