Yes, it is a great salad green. I'm sure it have more nutritional value than lettuce. And looks nice contained by a salad too. I used to snack on it alot. Around here it is only a seasonal plant so I look forward to it coming up surrounded by the spring.

I went to a pot luck once and a woman had brought some from her courtyard that like twice as big as run of the mill. Extra good.
