Can you grow your own eucaplytus? or baby's breath?
Baby's breath is extremely easy to grow. I threw some seeds on the dirt, sprinkled some compost on top...and walah..Don't know roughly eucalyptus, but I love the smell of it, when it's dry! Gysophinillia, is an annual. there are perennial types of Babe's breath though.. There must be a way to do so, as I bought eucalyptus growing contained by dirt at a Mennonite green house one year. I have also started Baby's Breath before from nut.
Both Eucalyptus and baby's breath can be grown fairly easily from seed.
Eucalyptus plants cover a really broad group of species, with differing cultural and growing requirements. Try to find one that match your local climate well. Eucalyptus gunnii is one of the hardiest, and Eucalyptus globulus is one that I started growing when I was at academy - it's not so hardy, not usually taken to freezing weather well. Also, they all own differing foliage, so choose one that suits you, as well as your garden and available space - some of them will merrily grow to 100' in height! http://www.parkseed.com/webapp/wcs/store...
Baby's breath is exceedingly easy, and its seeds are readily available from nurseries. http://www.2bseeds.com/babysbreathsilver...
Hope this help. Good luck! Rob
Answers: I don't know about eucalyptus, but baby's breath is extremely easy to grow. I bought a starter plant and it's grown similar to crazy. Be careful about growing eucalyptus though, greatly of people are allergic to eucalyptus and it gives them migraines.
