Can you recount me the best time to plant a cherry blossom tree? ...

Answers:    Gardengirl is absolutely right.

You can plant a Cherry tree at any time of the year if it is pot grown and you're prepared to look after it. The primary issue is water. It wishes to have sufficient ground moisture to allow it to establish contained by its first few years of growth.

Bare root trees are planted in the Autumn or Winter, but the Autumn is best as near is still usually some soil warmth that encourage the plant to "get a grip" soon after planting, but you can plant adjectives the while the plant is still healthy.

My top tips are:

a. Read a obedient book or online article about tree planting and do as it say.
b. Spend a couple of pounds on a sachet of Mycorrhizal fungi. These are beneficial symbiotic fungi that will help your strange tree to absorb moisture and nutrients quicker and protect it from other soil born pathogenic fungi.

The RHS Encyclopedia should be better if you enjoy it or can borrow it, but the main points are:
Watch your planting depth (not to deep).
Remove the turf and verbs over (if necessary increase it with compost etc) give or take a few one metre circle diameter of soil, usually to a spade's depth.
Stake the tree properly when planted.
Keep the circle free from weeds and mulched.
Read the article.

Hope that help and I hope you get years of satisfaction out of your tree. If in doubt more or less feeding (shouldn't necessitate much) or pruning, then my best direction is read a good book by an expert. The RHS stuff is usually spot on.
Trees should be planted within the Autumn. If you want to buy one now, I would ask the garden basis if it is too late. You can't plant it when the sap is rising.
