Can the plant of medlar or mespilus germanica be planted by its seed ? i have planted the seeds of medlar (mespilus germanica) within my garden...

i have planted the seeds of medlar (mespilus germanica) within my garden and it has grown up. does it give any fruit by this method or should i do any other care to make it give fruit.
should i replace its to other section of the garden? please give my guidance about planting of this tree
