Can Plums ripen sour the tree? I have a tree and one of the branches is so heavy...
I have a tree and one of the branches is so heavy near plums that it broke. Will all those green plums ripen? I think they are santa rosa plums? not 100% sure
TIA
Answers: Do not put them surrounded by a sunny windowsill..due to contrary believe this is the worst way to ripen fruits/veggies...put them in a daily bag inside away from heat and put a banana surrounded by the bag with them..replace the banana when it get too ripe..You can also use an apple...Bananas and apples naturally release ethylene gas that aids in fruits and veggies to ripen.. I hold gardened all my life..putting them contained by a hot window sill can blister them and also make them ripen too not easy not allowing thier natural sweetness to form..

maybe, if you put them in a hot windowsill. but it adjectives depends on how green they are. you can at least try.
