I live in IL in a zone 5b climate. Do they entail more water? Or should I move them to a less sunny spot, my forever and ever r within the same spot, but they are doing fine.
It should do fine, but don't allow it to become too dry.

Aren't the unrelenting summer hydrangeas beautiful! I would suggest moving them to a less sunny spot. I live contained by zone 6 (Mass.) and a couple of them that I have in sunnier spots didn't do very well - wilted when it was dry and some leaves burned. Either you need to wet them constantly (and I have automatic lawn sprinklers and they needed more hose than that) or move to 1/2 day sun spot. Good luck with them! i live within ky zone 6, hydrangeas need to be planted in cog shade i think you might want to consider moving it. it will need plenty of wet down low as not to water the leaves as they don't like that. they can go and get really big and they are beautiful but you should prob. move it.
Answers:    I live in Massachusetts too, Zone 5B. My Endless Summers drooped a bit finishing week, when it was so very hot and dry. If your 8 hours of sun is from sunup til 2, it should be OK with enough marine. They really prefer morning sun, with afternoon shade, tho. Enjoy them! They are magnificent
