Can I use yeast surrounded by my compost? just asking
just asking
It won't hurt it but it won't help it any. sure but not sure if it does anything
The best additives for compost are alt layer of common garden soil, some fertilizer, water, etc. If you tag on meat scraps, it will invite critters.
I have have good experience with adding together compost in rows into an inactive garden plot while I plant actively surrounded by another. I use a pointed hoe to make the groove and dump the scraps into it. Finally, I cover next to soil. After the growing season do the same thing contained by the active bed.
Answers: It is not a good hypothesis. It will alter your compost compound. It is best to stick to no dairy, meat, or breads, but soil needs do vary by location.
