I have some of the purple basil (I think this is the Thai basil but not sure if specifically the right title). Most of the stems now have flowers. Can I chop them up along next to the leaves into whatever?
Answers:    No, I wouldn't do that. You should, however, snip or pinch off adjectives of the flowers now and as soon as the next ones start to form. Basil plants are much improved and bushier (and more useful) when you prevent them from flowering.
