Hi,
I have a green live plant.
I bought this cute wooden pot. But it does not hold a hole at the bottom for water to budge out.
My mom says that I can not plant the plant within there, because it will mold up because of the wood, and also because the plant will die because nearby is no hold at the bottom of the pot.
Is this true?
The wooden pot has a stain in the inside so I dont guess it will mold up. As far as the hole at the bottom goes, Cant I of late spray the plant with some hose. It just doesnt brand sense to me. I think planters that enjoy to have trays on the bottom of them are gross.
Any ideas/opinions are welcome.
Thanks so much.
Answers: they net plastic liner pots for planters like this - use one of these to protect your wooden planter - you can cover the soil near some moss if you dont want the plastic liner to show.
if you put a couple of inches of pea gravel in the bottom and watch out not to over water it will be ok.
I would grasp a pot a little smaller than the cute wood one to put the plant contained by and then put that pot surrounded by the cute wood one...that way you can whip it out and water it and stuff and afterwards keep it surrounded by the wood one for the cute look
