should be fine, basically put a good compost or manure within the ground before planting, and add the vegetables. Make sure though, that you dampen them regularly, as the branches of the tree will probably stop any rain water getting to the vegetables.

Answers:    The biggest problem is that the tree will shade the vegetable plants. Vegetable plants (like tomatoes, peppers etc.) obligation a lot of direct sunlight in proclaim to ripen.
