Can i grow weeping willow trees within zone 10? I would like to enjoy a weeping willow but am not sure...

I would like to enjoy a weeping willow but am not sure if it will grow here, I live the palm springs area so. california. I entail shaded trees. Does anyone also know what other kind of shaded trees I can plant here?
Answers:    Certainly, keep hold of them away from house and sewer lines, as they have really invasive root systems.
