Just received tulip, ,purple passion('lilac blooms accented by adjectives purple flames'), and heavenly bluebells . adjectives are marked to be fall down plantings. We presently have 4" frozen firm snow on the ground...what should I do?
Answers: You can plant them but it's very unlikely that they'll bloom this year. They haven't be "chilled" underground like they would hold if they had be planted in the plummet. If you're very lucky they'll come up subsequent year.

P.S. You can try refrigerating them until you plant them outside. That may oblige simulate "winter".
Well, they "can". Will they come up? Who knows? Try it and find out. They expected won't last until spatter.
