Can a puny rose ever become strong?

Answers:    I'm fighting the same problem.. a great rose, but the stems on the flowers are only just not strong enuff to hold up the bloom once it opens... the buds start to swell and the stem starts to bend... I was told to cut the plant spinal column after it's first bloom this spring did that, and to feed it and keep it joyful until it could set up another bloom. and it did do better, but still the blooms drooped. so I'm going to work on the soil and it's content to see what's missing. I'll cut it back again, to stronger stems. then win a soil test or make an out-of-date gardener's best guess. I already tried the 'bloom food' store bought fertilizer... so this time I'll try some fish emulsion , Epsom salts and some 'super thrive' . maybe some molasses, too.

hey, I in recent times found this...

"Can "weak neck" (the inability of the stem to support the bloom in an adjectives position) be corrected or aided?

Yes. If this is not an inherent characteristic of the particular sort, the addition of PhosPhorus to the soil can aid in strengthening the stems. Also build certain that the roses are receiving sufficient sun as shade can also produce weak stems. "

there's something for us both to try!...
a rose? or a rose plant? if it is a plant yes it will they only are watered down because they are very small and have solely started to grow or if it is a new branch and has spikes on it and is insipid leave it because it will be a hudge strong branch and wil grow more and if it is a rose and is choped off next no it won't and i don't know if it will grow stronger Make sure the Rose is receiving all the cultural inputs it requests (Full Sun 8-10hrs, Adequate Water, Good Fertility, Proper Soil pH) and keep insects, especially aphids, and disease, black spot, at low populations. These factors recurrently limit how well plants grow and strong they become.
