I was making a bumble bee box using these instructions http://www.xerces.org/Backyard%203%20bum...
It says to place the box at a echelon between 4-10 inch high. Now the place I want to put it has these plants densely planted http://www.bakker.co.uk/Catalog/Productd...
and so would inevitability to be about 50cm high would this concern to the bees?
Answers: Go ahead, if the box is for viewing the bees. (Your first link doesn`t work). That is the recommended heighth, but they will find it anyway. That isn`t too high to nest surrounded by. If it is just for the bees, and not for viewing, just put it at recommended heighth. What is immensely dense to you (the flowers), can be a wide-open meadows to them, lol.
