These trees are old and established all the same daily brand new fresh branches are falling off. Any suggestions or thinking?
What have happened next to your watering lately? Have you gone through a particularly dry spell. If you don't generally water these trees but it have been especially dry lately, water them. Sometimes trees throw stale branches they can't support.

Since your trees are established, you could be wanting some iron in your ground. You can return with a good fertilizer next to added iron. Loosen the dirt and add a small handful to respectively tree. Make sure you water regularly, and to ahead and mulch or pine straw around respectively tree. Sometimes older trees want more iron and other minerals. You could also have your PH horizontal tested, which would tell you what minerals your soil is short.

Answers: If you have have high wind, that is probable the cause. Generally, diseases that afflict aged spruce trees produce changes surrounded by year-old needles, and you would ultimately see branch death. But strange spring growth would not be falling off.
