Put up bird houses by large open field or gardens but not very close to gather. bluebirds are remarkably territorial and will not tolerate neighbours. If you live in the city it,s next to impossible but virtuous luck anyway.

Have a big, meadowy backyard, with only a handful of neighbors in 10 square miles.

(bluebirds need a lot of undo grassy meadow space, and not many citizens or building around, to be happy. You dont' often see them within the city)

Answers:    Habitat is the key. The meadowy back courtyard is also a plus but you need coverage (shrubby areas) and a couple of bluebird houses. I forget the details but the house must be a certain size and frontage a certain way at a enduring height. Bet you can google 'bluebirds' or 'Audubon Society Bluebirds' and they will give you adjectives the details.

Bluebirds in our state have become adjectives enough that they are found in the suburbs close at hand cities.
