Beyond cornflowers poppies and oxeye daisies knapweed and corncockle...what are the quintessential wildflower- -meadow flowers?

-meadow flowers?
I don't pretend to know anything roughly speaking gardening - but fox gloves and fireweed are a couple of my favourites. Fox gloves because they remind me of my childhood - and fire weed because I like the time of war time story about them springing up surrounded by the rubble after bombings.

Im not to sure if they are uncontrolled flowers but sweet williams are nice, look like a grass when not within bloom, But when the flowers have sprout they are a open purple.
They look kinda wild.
