I have balcony and I be just wondering what type of potted plant I can put out there that would be ok within both the harsh Texas summer and winter?
Answers: I live in Houston and hold had a Yucca on my balcony for years. You could also try a Plumeria- stunning plant and blooms, but you may need to keep trimming it down so it doesn't grow uncontrolled. If you want something that drapes or does not grow vertically, try asparagus grass. I can't kill mine even though I'm terrible at keeping plants alive!
I would meditate a jade plant would work. They're pretty hardy and actually thrive on neglect. Or, multiple other kinds of cactus or succulents.
