We've had some cool snaps (weather), could that be the basis the fruits don't appear to be growing faster? I think some of the fruits own been on near for two weeks and none are much larger than three inches, seems close to a long time. Its the first of the season...would it help to cut adjectives or some of these off and bestow the plant a chance to strengthen itself more? one of the plants have at least 5 squash trying to grow at like time-I wouldn't think anything of it if it wasn't the first crop but possibly its stunting the growth by trying to do too much too soon. Maybe try pollinating them? I haven't been contained by a garden since I was a child near my mom maybe I'm mortal impatient...but a couple weeks seems close to an eternity for squash. I remember them growing faster than we could cut them!
you can cut some of the smaller ones to make the others larger, do you hold any bites on teh leaves, and are the squash flowers pollinating for along time before they drip off to produce the plants.?

It could be you planted too soon. The "fruits" that are small.could merely be the ovary and not pollinated. You need to pollinate them yourself. What I do is beside a clean and dry finger, I get pollen from the male flower (this is the one near no 'fruit" attached) and I softly swirl it around the inside of the female flower (the one next to the "fruit").

I have done this method several times and be successful.
Answers:    Your pretty good. They thrive contained by the heat. Pick the ones nearby now so the plant have energy to return with bigger and stronger. Late June thru July youll have more than you know what to do beside.
Pollination is fine as the bees have moved it to produce the fruit.
I have to do it each morning by taking manly flowers and self pollinating the females. Has to be done in the morning as they close during the warmth of the day.
Your doing fine - your only just hungry for fresh squash right now:)
