In my religion, every household needs a holy basil tree,
I live contained by Germany, and I was wondereing if I can buy basil trees or seed for growing a tree??
Does every gardenshop have basil seed or basil trees??
Try growing Thai basil, my aunt the master gardener recommended it as hardier than most.

There are many different variety of Basil available today. You can purchase Basil from a nursery or grow it from seed. Basil does economically from seed. There is a tree Basil call gratissimum that will grow six feet. There is also a shrub Basil call Camphor. This shrub will grow five to ten feet towering. They key to germinate Basil lies with germinate in the shadow. Purchase some light mass potting soil with no yap. Add some vermiculite and some humus to the soil. Take hot tap river and mix with the soil. The hot marine will help take the roots established. Make sure you water it properly and once the Basil is established and have formed plugs, you can put it in sunlight.

Answers: Yes you can get seed very effortless at most local shops. The trick to growing them is to make sure the soil is heat when you plant the seeds and to hold on to the soil moist for the first 7-10 days.
