I planted a bamboo plant contained by an unsuitable place ,i have to try and verbs it up but was told that if you give notice any roots in the ground,even if they are not attached to the parent plant,they will start to sprout other plants.Is this true do i enjoy to get rid of every piece of root ??
Answers: Hello I'm sorry to voice that most of your answers are incorrect..You first need to know that here are 2 kinds of rattan (many species but on 2 kinds)
They are running bamboo which is significantly invasive
and a real goad to get rid of.
The other is Clumping rattan and it is just short of man as difficult,
The only course to get rid of it it to verbs it out or to cut it all the style down and then use a herbicide ((( brush to apply on alien growth)))) as well as the already cut down.
If it's clumping wicker it's easy to contain.
Infact if it's running rattan it can be contained by using Rhizome barriers. That keep the roots from spreading except within the confines of the boom.
There is one other way and i.e. only if you want to slaughter the grass with it ..use tarps to cover the ground and destroy a source of light you newly have to craft sure it is extended out far enough
to hang on to roots from reaching the light source.

The nursery should own told you which bamboo you hold! Next time you'll know to ask.
If you can describe the foilage & stem I should be able to make clear to you which type it is, I grow about 4 or 5 variety & havent had this problem although ive read its best to use a physical weir to restrict root growth on some the worst seems to be 'Sasa' variaties that run ...it may obligation spraying with something resembling 'round up' a systemic weedkiller or try covering it with black plastic sheeting, if you want to verbs up & send me for a time Id be very glad.
