My husband bought me a little rattan plant in May and it have grown about an inch and a partly, most os it since we moved, in August. It's immediately in a western facing skylight. My question is, I live within Ohio and we're nearing winter. Where would be the best place in the house for the plant? Also, how on Earth can it live on river alone? It has to enjoy some sort of nutrients to grow. How do I feed wicker? Liquid plant food? How much? I know too much fertilizer can fry plants.

This plant was given to me on our one year honeymoon anniversary. I'd like to hold it healthy and bright and breezy for a long time.
